PRESET/ARCHITECTURE IN HELSINKI/VAN SHE

we're absolutely amazing last nighttt UGH!

trained it to the city, got some tucker from HJ's
bussed it to moore park, followed some people that looked like they were going to presets.
get to the venue with daisy and find the lovely natsha, we kinda jumper queue and stood with her :)

watched a 16 year old get told off by a cop
for having some booze.
then watched her calmly take off the lid and pour it on the floor.
ahh nicee.

finally get in.
got some smirnoff red.

van she were up first.
now i've admired them for quite sometime due to their first breakout single kelly.
but haven't heard their recent stuff.

and i find it so moving to hear a piece of music, live, for the first time.
like i've never heard any of their other stuff,
but it was like mmm niceee.
quite lovely lads as well.
although the bassist has a few dilemmas in the wardrobe department.
but the finished their set with kelly and it really for me dancing and singing.

next up was architecture in helsinki.
i saw them previously at sound relief in march.
and i admire their music.
80's esque, but so today, its just a mind blowing equation
when you hear their music.
but i guess they maybe for an acquired taste.
Kellie Sutherland the female vocalist.
is amazinggg.
her outfit was so lovely it was like yumm.
they band had a great energy, did little dances and stuff.
the keyboardist was insane jumping all over they stage as if he had 5 cans of red bull.
they was a slight technical malfunction.
but was worked out.
three tops songs from them on the night, that beep, heart it races and a surprise cover of teardrops by womack and womack.

this is where the pushing began.
i sometimes stand back and think about the kids younger than me and its like do you actually have brains?

you think k presets. better get in front before the first band comes on.

but no they're not that clever.
they decide to make everyone's life hell by pushing in all directions, elbowing in the back everything to get through to the front.
one boy was like let us through and me and my friend screamed NO! and hes like but the fucking presets man and its like should've thought about that earlier.
and not to mention the idiots behind me.
purposely tapping me on the shoulder and pulling my hair.
too bad if im tall.
so are the people in front of me, doesn't matter if i move, you still won't see a thing.

me and my friend had enough of the teeny boppers around us and squeezed through the crowd and got some water and danced around the more mature crowd members.
finally the presets arrived on stage.

hit it off with talk like that.
i was a bit annoyed they only played a chorus of are you the one.
but anyways.
they pretty much went off.
i also saw them earlier at sound relief.
and of course the crowd favourite was my people.

but after an encore it came to an end.

we caught the bus back to central.
lovely drunk boys.
"WE'RE ALL ON THE BUS TO CENTRAL NERR NERR NERR"
putting new spins on presets lyrics and then pursuing to go further and sing the wheels on the bus.
alot of people actually joined in.
trained it home.
then taxi.
then sleep.
woke up to find bruises all over my feet.

but it was a lovely night.
next week.
LILY ALLEN!
she is love.

xx

P.S today when i spoke to my parents about the night my dads like "horden pavillion, jeez thats still going, i went and saw the monkees there, sure you couldn't hear anything, due to the screaming, but they we playing." i felt pretty good after that.
