cherry chapstick.

last night i went to see miss katy perry.

it was amazingg.

the night began at liverpool station, 4:30pm, got some hot chips to break my 50 and waited for daisy hopped on the train and proceeded to central station.

once at central station me and daisy bought bus tickets and went to the bus stop, realised the bus didn't go to enmore.
so we rushed to a convience store and used the computer, wasn't much help except now we had to look for railway square.
and sydney looks very different at night >_<

so we walked towards george street and ran into nina :)
tackle hugged her like usual and she helped us find the buss.

once we got there realised we walked in a giant circle >_<

so we got on the buss and stopped at enmore theatre and jumped onto the queue.
stood there for ageeeeees.
we hopped on the queue at 6ish and the doors don't open till 7:30 >_<

so my feet were tres tired being new and all.
but we finally got in.
i was surprised at the veiw we got so far in the line once we got in.
bought a bottle of waterr.
and the waiting game began again.

kid confusious was the support act. 8pm.
pretty good.
except their songs sounded all the same >_<
so they finised at 8:30pm

then katy's set-up began.
falmingoes, astroturf, white picket fence, strawberry and cream drum kit, blow up strawberries and her very awesome microphone stand.

9:00pm struck so did the chants.
"KATY KATY KATY KATY"
then a giant pink heart lit up.
4 guys in satin pink suits ran on to stage and took their instruments.
guitar riffs began
and a petite lady in red sequin cotton tails and a white top with glittering strawberries emerged carrying a giant inflatable strawberry which she flung into the crowd.

'voted most likely to end up on a milk box drink guess like im letting them dowwwnnnnnnnn"
fingerprints began.
and she was running around and singing and struting her stuff.
then she sang "one of the boys".

cut to the time when the queens got on stage with her.
one of them actually knocked me over a moment beforee.

they were her back up dancers to "hot n cold".
which was quite funny.

after a lovely performance of "self inflicted".
a chubby man in a postman outift came out on stage and she began to talk and then proceded into a cover called "postman" and then i got real excited she began to sing "build me up"
which she did awesomely :)

after "waking up in vegas" she did like an accoustic set of a few songs.
then she sang "if you can afford me".
then she said her goodbyes.

chants began again.
and these giant blue eyes emerged along with a giant blow up cat head.
and katy behind the stage was purring and saying random things.
and talking about her favourite band, and then lyrics and riffs began for "don't stop me now"
she ran on to stage in a pink skin tight leopard print jumpsuit with a tail and black cat mask.
she did and awesome job at it.

then a giant inflatable red lipstick came out and katy dove into the crowd, and was talking again, and kissed an innocent crowd member, and they grabbed her in futher.

katy started to sing her famous songg and dancing around while inflatable strawberries bounced in the crowd.
then she dissapeared and the lights came back on.
and it was over.

stumbling towards the merch stand and bought my shirt.
and was angry that they sold out of cherry chapsticks.

my feet were killing meee >_<
sat at the bus stop and then caught the bus back to railway square and then got some dinner from a take away shop and then sat on the train.

fell asleep and woke up at fairfield.

caught a taxi home and went straight to bedd.

was a great concert.
had alot of fun :)
